Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated September 26, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Marshall Technology, LLC (“Marshall Technology,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through our website, marshalltechnologyllc.com.

It covers the website only. Information we receive while providing consulting or technology services to clients is governed by the agreements for that work, such as proposals, statements of work, master services agreements and, where applicable, business associate agreements.

Who we are

Marshall Technology, LLC is a Pennsylvania technology consulting company. You can reach us about this policy at info@marshalltechnologyllc.com.

Information you provide

The website collects information from you directly only through the contact form. The form asks for:

  • Required: your name, email address and message.
  • Optional: your company, phone number and the area you’d like help with. The area selector starts at “Not sure yet,” and that value is sent unless you choose another.

You can also email us directly. Either way, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to understand your question and reply.

Please don’t send sensitive information

The contact form is for starting a conversation. Please don’t use it, or a first email, to send passwords or other account credentials, Social Security numbers, payment-card information, protected health information or other highly sensitive information. If a conversation leads to work that requires sensitive information, we’ll agree on an appropriate way to handle it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these server logs to operate, troubleshoot and protect the website.

When the contact form is used, limited technical information, including an obscured (hashed) form of your IP address, is used temporarily to prevent spam, limit repeated or automated submissions and avoid delivering duplicate messages. The form also contains hidden anti-spam fields; they are not part of the message we receive.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

The website does not currently use cookies, and it does not store information in your browser using technologies such as local storage. It does not currently use analytics, advertising, session-recording or similar tracking tools. The fonts and images it displays are served from our own server, so viewing a page does not send requests to third-party services.

Because the website does not track visitors across other websites, browser signals such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control do not change how it behaves. If our practices change, we will update this policy.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about the services you asked about.
  • To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the website.
  • To prevent spam and abuse.
  • To keep appropriate business records.
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We do not use website information for advertising or to build profiles of visitors.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle inquiries. They process information on our behalf to provide their services:

  • DigitalOcean hosts the web server, including its server logs.
  • Mailgun processes and delivers contact-form messages. Its open- and click-tracking features are turned off for these messages.
  • Google Workspace hosts our email, including the mailbox that receives contact-form messages and emails sent to us directly.

We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of Marshall Technology, our clients or others.

We don’t sell your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not currently use website visitor information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep information

We don’t keep a separate website database of contact-form submissions. Messages arrive in our email, where we keep them as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, follow up, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal or operational obligations.

Server logs are kept for security, troubleshooting and operation of the website, and are rotated and deleted according to operational needs. The temporary anti-spam information described above is discarded automatically after a short time. Our service providers handle information according to their own systems and retention practices.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encrypting connections to the website with HTTPS. No method of transmitting or storing information over the Internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites and resources, such as research and frameworks we reference. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we don’t control them. A link on our website doesn’t share your information with the linked site; you decide whether to follow it.

Children

Our website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
